Depart from Arusha after breakfast and travel towards the Ndutu plains in the
Ngorongoro–Serengeti ecosystem. Enjoy game viewing along the way and explore
the area in search of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and predators.
During the calving season, you may encounter large herds of wildebeest and newborn calves.
Accommodation: Lodge or tented camp in the Ndutu area
Enjoy a morning game drive in Ndutu before continuing towards Serengeti National Park. Explore its vast plains in search of lions, cheetahs,
leopards, elephants, and migrating herds. Enjoy an afternoon game drive
before returning to your accommodation.
Accommodation: Lodge or tented camp in Serengeti
Start the day with an early morning game drive in Serengeti, enjoying the wildlife and beautiful sunrise over the plains.
After breakfast, continue with game viewing as you travel towards the Ngorongoro
Conservation Area. Enjoy scenic landscapes and wildlife sightings before settling
into your lodge for the evening.
Accommodation: Lodge in Karatu or near Ngorongoro
After an early breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a
game drive across its wildlife-rich floor. Look for elephants, buffaloes, lions,
zebras, hippos, and the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch before ascending the
crater and driving back to Arusha, where your safari concludes.
Meals: Breakfast and lunch
Note: Ndutu is especially rewarding during the wildebeest calving season, generally around January–March. Wildlife movements vary throughout the year, so the route and accommodation locations should be adjusted to your travel dates.
